As I learnt from unit 7, now I understand that both receptive and productive skills are important. Previously I thought receptive skills are important only for my passive English and productive skills for my active skills. In fact, both reading and listening skills (i.e. receptive skills) are needed to improve my active skills (speaking and writing). Without a good performance on reading and listening, I may not speak or write well. Thank you
