Planning a lesson is crucial for an unexperienced teacher. Evidently, it is not possible to plan every minute of a class, but it is good to be prepared and still be ok when plans change. I have learnt that it can be very helpful to create a lesson plan: it gives us support in how to prepare the class (meaning setting up learning goals, activities, personal aims, anticipated problems and how to find solutions already in advance). In order to continually improve your teaching skills, it is good to evaluate yourself by reviewing your own class. Find strengths and weaknesses and focus in how to improve them.
