I personally think that receptive skills which are listening and reading are very important. Very often students face problems when they listen to native speakers, because it is very difficult to understand them. A lot of teachers spend too much time teaching grammar but then students may realize that they know all tenses but they can`t communicate with people. I am sure that listening and reading skills are essential and teachers should encourage students to read and listen more.
