In this unit I have learned a lot about how to set up a lesson using the ESA model.
I think it is important to make a good lesson plan for the students so they can easily pick up the language. Especially starting in the engage phase with more visual kind of activities which can be fun en encouraging. In my opinion this makes the student more willing to learn when I start such a lesson.
The study phase is the hardest part I think because, I'm in that situation right now. And i can see how students could have the same experience. The activate stage on the other hand is a more loose kind of phase when students have the opportunity to use the language with other students, such as in debates or role-playing.
