In my point of view, learners find expressing ideas about the future in English very odd and this isn't wholly unreasonable. In many languages tenses have a special ending that indicates the future but in English the structure is rather different. We use another word or words before the main verb. So we have: Futere simle(shall/will), future continuous(will+be+verb+ing),future perefect(will+have+past participle), future perfect continuous(will+have+been+veb+ing), to be going to (verb to be in the present+going to+base form of verb).
