writing is about accuracy, while speaking is about fluency.
we have four reasons for communication: purpose, want to say sth, want to listen to sth, interests.
usually, accuracy should be put into the study phase, fluency should be put into the activate phase.
but i think there's a order for the two phases, accuracy first then fluency.
if a student seems reluctant, he/she may be lack of confidence, inexperienced, discomfort about cultures, fear or intimidation.
but teachers can motivate students' interests by pairwork, groupwork, practice, be purposeful, classroom changing, planning and be patient.
there's a line, for teachers to check several things before/during/after class.
penmanship is the face of the writer.
spelling relates to education level.
more reading makes the person more professional in the language.
in writing work, we check:grammar, vocabulary, style, spelling and layout, of course the pronunciation as well.
