From this unit, it suggested me about how to deliver new vocabulary, grammar and the other language aspects effectively to the students. It also suggested few suitable activities for the lesson and how to utilise them in the lesson plan and hence having an effective and productive class.
When we, teachers introduce new language, we can apply ESA methods to teach the students. For instance, straight arrow ESA approach can be used for lessons that specifically focused on grammar or vocabulary while boomerang or patchwork ESA approach is commonly used for function based lessons. However, these methods are not the exact rules to follow when teaching. Hence, as an effective teacher i should teach them with appropriate approaches and structures according to individual class.
