In this unit I have learnt that writing of lesson plans has a number of important functions. This includes an aid to planning which says that write down what you expect the students to achieve by the end of the lesson , the working document which helps you to keep target and gives you something to refer to during the lesson and a record which acts as a record of what the class has done and which materials have been used. It also teaches me the basic principles of a lesson planning, the practical things I do to make sure my class goes smoothly and what I should include in a lesson plan. This includes the learner objectives, personal aims, language point, procedure, phase, timing interaction and class level. It also gives good knowledge on how plan my lesson perfectly.
