These two videos gave me a very straightforward example of good and bad teaching. In the first video, the teacher started teaching right away, and did not explain clearly what the terms "necessary" "unnecessary" "acceptable" "unacceptable" mean, so the students were not ready to engage. Instead of helping students understand his instruction, he showed frustration when students were confused. His attitude had negative impact on students. In the second video, the class was well-planned with proper phrases. Activities were clearly explained, so the students were able to participate well. From these, I learned the things I need to avoid in teaching and effective methods to be used in class.
