This unit goes into depth about the four past tenses in the English language: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. The unit gives a basic and easy-to-follow formula for each tense, and it gives examples of when to use one tense instead of another. Also, the past simple tense has a lot of irregular verbs, so it lists some of the most common examples that students would have to memorize.
