Very similar in many was to present tense, in this section we observed the past tense and its different forms: Past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Past Simple being an action that happened in the past at a definite time. Past Continuous being about an action that started in the past and probably continued after that. Past Perfect being about an action completed before another action in the past. Finally we have the past perfect continuous, which is a longer actions or situations in the past that had been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about.
