In this unit we covered many aspects of classroom management. We talked about eye contact, voice usage, and body gesture/language i order to maintain a relaxed and productive teaching time. We also studied multiple forms of group settings in the classroom, observing pros and cons of each. In addition to the previous stated, we also evaluated different types of classroom arrangements. We also learned about writing on the blackboard, teacher talk time, student talk time, giving instructions, and giving students individual attention in order to decrease dead time and increase fruitful teaching and learning. We ended things up with topics such as creating good rapport, classroom and individual discipline.
