The three main points I took away from this module are class engagement, rapport building and how to break down a class for the best learning.
Make class engaging: A bored student is often a misbehaving student. This is why engaging curriculum is one of the strongest tools a teacher has in a well-managed classroom.
Build rapport: There’s nothing new about building rapport but this classroom management technique is hands down the most effective in any classroom. When a student can trust their teacher and know that they are cared for, they will also do their part.
How you break the classroom down will depend on many factors. How large the class is, how the students interact with one another, and how your lesson plan for the day will be aligned.
