Audio-lingualism, PPP- Presentation, practice and production. task-based learning, Communicative Language teaching (CLT),Community language learning (CLL),Silent way, Suggestopaedia and the Lexical approach. The main approach, ESA, was gone through in greater detail as well as the crucial different stages (Engage, Study and Activate), and how the different stages could be applied across a standard lesson. ESA and the different stages (and contents) are useful in regards to lesson planning.
