This unit was very engaging as I learnt new interesting ideas concerning the teaching themes. This unit explores different teaching strategies which I found very useful in order to make a lesson plan in the future.It introduces various teaching themes that can be used in the classroom in order to aid both the teaching and the learning process. In particular, it thoroughly explores different teaching themes, like songs, games, art and crafts, drama, stories and explains how they can be used efficiently and effectively in the classroom. I found all of these very helpful. It encouraged me to think new ideas. Additionally, this unit provides lesson plans and explains how to make a successful lesson plan. It explains step by step the making of a lesson plan. Furthermore,it provides teaching materials that can be used to accompany the lesson plans. It also gives some very useful internet recourses in order to explore them and discover new ideas and materials when we create our own lesson plans. All in all, I found this unit very helpful and practical.
