Unit 13 covers the methods for teaching pronunciation and phonology through the physical properties of sound. Complexities of how we articulate sounds and its different properties is discussed. 3 key areas of stress, rhythm, and intonation give a better sense and understanding of how we learn the pronunciation of English. Unit 13 goes into detail about how certain tones are created based off of diagrams of speech organs. How sound is articulated along with phonetic sounds are given as aids in the process of teaching English.
