The future like the past tense can be confusing with so many similar usage parameters. It is very interesting to see this laid out so succinctly. Similarly to the past array of tense, the future follows a similar pattern. Some are used to state spontaneous decisions or predictions based on evidence or without. How can the English language span so many situations? It is clear that it can cause confusion in all age groups that are studying both the past and future tense. Clear instruction and explanations are required so that the student successfully grasps when to use each tense. I believe that activities that allow students to practice the future tense will be successful.
