In this unit, I learned that the ways on how teachers should teach Vocabulary, Grammar, and Language functions are dependent on some relevant factors. For instance, vocabulary must be taught with an emphasis on the following points: meaning of the word, use of the word, word grammar group, interaction with other words, spelling, and pronunciation. Grammar must be taught with an emphasis on meaning, when and how the word is used, and the difference between how the word is written and spoken. Language must be taught with appropriacy at a focal point. Teachers must consider the aim of the language first before teaching it, such as for inviting, suggesting, rejecting, and other functions.
