In this unit, I went over a number of important functions when writing lesson plans before class. Some basic principles when lesson planning is that we should keep it as simple as possible and not to script oh the whole lesson as teachers should keep it flexible and open to adaption as there may be changes in the class, for example, the class may like the activity that you planned that day and they may want to play longer so the teacher must at the spot think what may be posphoned or what must be kept and to be conducted in that certain lesson. A new thing that I learnt from this unit throughout my teaching career is that it’s also important to write down anticipated problems for student and teacher on the lesson plan and try to monitor if the solutions are workable or not after the lesson, not only to help the students but also for the teachers development as well.
