In this unit, I’ve looked though the structure and teaching ideas for the seven common future tenses in the English Language . Here is my summary for the seven future tenses.
The future simple - The simple future is a verb tense that’s used to talk about things that haven’t happened yet.
The future Continuous- The future continuous refers to an unfinished action or event that will be in progress at a time later than now.
The future perfect - The future perfect tense refers to a completed action in the future.
The future perfect Continuous- is a verb tense that describes actions that will continue up until a point in the future.
Be going + infinitive- about future events that have already been
decided
The present simple - is used to make statements about events at a time later than now
The present Continuous- future arrangement is a plan that you have decided and organised with another person.
