In this unit I learnt about different ways of evaluating students'levels and progress,as well as some of the common external exams.there are a feww ways to assess a student's langage level:Tuorials,Evaluationg by the students and tests.As for Tutorials which can take place with the whole group or with individual students.As for Evaluationg by the students,it can be very useful to ask the students to evaluate their course by means of a questionaire or guided discussion. As for test it is often appropriate to give tests at different stages in a course. new students are placed to take placement tests to gauge the students' level as well as diagnostic tests;Progress tests should be used to gauage what langage has been remembered or acquired and what langage has been forgetten. and Practice tests are being given in preparation for an exteral exam.and there are several different external exams that the students can take part in according to their needs.
