In this unit I learn about how should we teach Vocabulary,Grammar and Functions.and there are four things that students need to do with learning new language:be exposed it,understand its meaning,understand how it's constructed and be able to practisse and produce it.
Then it introduces how should we teach vocabulary whic is very important to sudents,especially at the early stages and we need to select words carefully.the typical ESA vocabulary lesson should be"straight arrow".
For Grammartical structures which is largely determined by the level of the class.and the typical ESA grammar lesson should be"patchwork".
As for the functions teaching which is used in different situations.and the typical ESA functions lesson is"boomerang and patchwork".
