In this unit, I learnt a number of methodologies for teachers to apply in the classroom. But as said in the unit, Engage-Study-Activate is the most effective and logical. Engage is similar to a 'warmer' which it's aim is to get the students warmed up and to get them to speak as much English as possible though out some chit chatting or through games. Study is where students will focus on the language or information delivered by the teacher. Activate is the stage where students will try to use any/ all of the language they learnt through typical activate activities.
Another important thing i learnt from this unit are some correction Techniques. Whatever it is, it's extremely important for the teacher to always be positive no matter what. When a students makes or says a mistake, the first option is to self correction, letting the student try to correct themselves. If the student is unable to correct it, we may allow other students to help. The last option is for the teacher to correct if non of the students can correct it.
