This section differentiated between past tenses: Simple past, Past Perfect, Past Continuous, and Past Perfect Continuous. The Simple Past tells us about the past using verbs like; was, did, or brought... Past perfect tells us about an action that happened before another past action while using the verb in conjunction with ‘had’. Past Continuous uses the verb plus the ‘ing’ form. Past perfect form uses the verb plus ‘had neen’, indicating something that happened in the past and may or may not have continued past that time.
