Unit 16 centres on "Conditionals and Reported Speech". The 5 main types of conditionals (zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals)are discussed. Teaching ideas for these conditional types are listed and detailed.
Furthermore, the unit explains the concept of reported speech, and what speech class changes with what, while reporting. The speech classes of verb tenses and pronouns are discussed too. The unit ends with a task to check readers' assimilation of what has been discussed.
