This unit presents two videos of an ESA lesson with the same learning objectives but different teaching techniques.
In the first video or lesson, the teacher enters the class late, is disorganized, has not prepared ahead for the lesson, speaks down to the students and disregards their errors and mistakes just to get on with the class and finish, and creates no rapport with them, thus representing completely unprofessional teaching skills and those which are not acceptable from a teacher.
On the other hand, in the second video, the teacher presents himself appropriately, then starts building rapport with the students by asking for their individual names, introduces the learning objective of the lesson, engages the students and elicits answers from them (which we see throughout the video), and assists them during the study phase. The teacher in the second video presented the professional and required skills for teaching an ESA lesson.
