This unit describes the various ways to teach pronunciation of words and emphasizes that it is an important aspect of language to teach however difficult it may be. The unit covers stress, intonation, and articulation. I found the breakdown of the phonetic alphabet to be very challenging to learn. I did enjoy learning about the voiced and unvoiced consonants, the different places of articulation and the description of the different types of sounds such as fricative and plosive. All of these descriptions will definitely provide me with many tools to teach pronunciation, but it will surely take me more practice to get comfortable with these concepts and how to teach them
