This unit is focused on classroom management pertaining to grouping of individuals, a teacher's domination of the classroom, and disciplinary action. The main takeaway from this lesson is that teachers can influence classroom atmosphere by using different techniques. Using varied seating arrangements and grouping styles can affect such things as student talk time and teacher talk time, in which a balance between the two is preferred.
