I learned the qualification of a good teacher. And how important it is to be patient and have a strong desire for students to learn from you. The different types of roles of a teacher were very interesting. It really broke it down and explained how use two different type of lessons such as "student-centered" or "teacher-centered". When having a good learner in your class this will be the qualities to look for: willingness to listen, desire to experiment with the language, ask questions, knowing what works best fir them, and acceptance of error correction. General there are two different types of learners adults and kids. Adults are usually from 18 years of age or higher. The young kids are broken down to three different categories. First range from 13 or older. Second is from 8 to 12 years. Third is preschool to 7 years of age. As a teacher you will have to look for the different levels of affability . Six different categories which are; beginners, elementary, low/pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, and advance. I have learned so much from this unit.
