This unit describes such ways of expressing future tense as Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, Future Perfect Continuous, Present Continuous? Present Simple and "be going to". Future Simple is mainly used for expressing promises, future facts and certainties, threats,spontaneous decisions. Future Continuous, on the contrary, is used for describing the action in progress at a particular moment, polite enquires,referring to future events which are fixed or decided.Future Perfect is used to express an acion completed before by a certain time in the future. Future Perfect Continuous is used to say how long sth will have continued by a certain time. Be going to describes intentions, predictions based on present evidence and plans. Present Simple can be used to express futute tense as well for example in such cases as suggesting a more formal situation,timetables or schedules.
