This unit covered Troubleshooting:
First lessons--This unit dealt with establishing rapport with a new class and an existing class.
Warmers--A very important part of a class is having a warmer, so that the students are not suddenly hit with grammar as soon as they walk in the door.
Different levels--A mixed class can be challenging, but this unit helped to be prepared for that.
Large classes--Large classes, especially mixed ones, can be very difficult to teach.
Use of native language--It can be tempting for a teacher to use/show off his or her fluency in a native language of the country of residence. But it is best to try to keep the class from using that to their advantage (actually, their disadvantage).
Difficulties with listening texts--Listening is a difficult thing for students. More exposure to a variety of listening exercises will help.
