This unit deals with pronunciation and phonology.
There is a definition of phonology. Stress, rhythm, and intonation are defined. Phonemic symbols are charted. Articulation is explained.
Then, there is a section about teaching techniques for pronunciation. And a question of when we should teach pronunciation is detailed.
Different students have different issues with pronunciation. Different lessons have different demands for pronunciation.
I find it useful to study as many methods of teaching pronunciation--and having phonology explained--as possible.
