From this unit, I have learnt that teachers can put a range of very different teaching strategies or themes. Songs, chants and music can be used for all ages and levels but not in the same way for particular groups. With games, teachers must start with the teaching point and think about which games could be used to cover that point. Teacher must also have strategie for cooling down in case of big excitement. Stories are very usefull to work the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), it is important that the story is adapted to the level and match the teaching point. Art and craft is very good for the foor skills and creativity. Seasonal activities can provide a great impetus for language learning situation. Drama and movement make the context more realistic but teachers have to bear in mind the different levels and ages of learners. The lesson's task sheet enables me to see how some of those ideas can be put into action.
