This lesson might actually be one of the most important lessons for students, in my opinion. Knowing the differences between scanning, skimming, deducting skills, predictive skills, and finding detailed information is extremely important in all stages of education. However, I see it more in the higher levels. For example, being able to differentiate and use each of these skills would be extremely useful for those writing papers and doing researching. Therefore, the ideal groups would be high school to higher education. Through this lesson, student will be able to identify each, and be able to use them in the future; education wise or for personal usage.
