This unite is about the material we choose to work with in our classroom. There are many ways of teaching and they are all right. It is up to the teacher how much time he\she wants to spend on the materials. It is important tho to know you're students well when finding materials. You want to have something that will be of interest. Of coarse we can't please everyone, but thats why it's good to change the topic for every lesson or every second lesson. There are both negatives and positives with books, the are reliable, and it give new teacher a secure way to follow. But it can also make the teacher less creative and the students might find it a bit boring. Also many books today are quite outdated and also it's set for all types of kids, and not for a specific group. So when the teacher choose a material book, she\he needs to think about the cost, and if the material is good, that the book is updated and that the topics are relevant.
