This unite discuss the different methods there is of teaching. Something I find interesting because we are all very different. I enjoyed particularly the one about being active as well as learning the language. We are all created differently, while some might learn from listening and reading books, other of us need something more. Something to stimulate more senses. I think the grammar - translation is something I wouldn't use. As it mention the student will fail to learn and think in the language, rather think its own language and then translate in his/hers head.
ESA process was something new to me, and something I will try out. It had many good tips to carry out and it was quite thorough written on how to follow its steps.
This unite also consisted different games ones can use in the classroom with the student, both advanced and beginners. Like realia, and flashcards and gap filling etc.
I learn from the correction section how import this is, but its not all. Also who should correct the student, if the other peers should or if I should. Of coarse I will also need to get to know my students well, because as it mention perhaps the student will feel embarrassed about this. This way of correcting, that the peers help might be for younger students rather then teenager, due to they are more shy, and in the puberty stage this can be a difficult time for them. So putting the out like that might reduce their will of learning or speaking up in class.
