I feel that I have acquired the foundations for a number of teaching skills required to successfully teach english. Skills such as classroom management, grammar and phonology, lesson planning, and teaching methodology. I have personally gained the confidence I would need to stand in front of a classroom and teach and feel like I deserved to be there. I have all the foundations I need to begin my teaching career, the rest will come with experience, I believe.
I’m planning to move to Brazil next year and get work in an english school and do some private tutoring on the side. I will take into account all that I have learned in this course and am sure it will help me, particularly the lesson planning.
