This course has been highly informative and enjoyable. The most important information that I feel I have gained from this course would be that of student and classroom dynamics and how the TEFL structure and ethos face and command these very intricate and sensitive areas.
The grammatical part of the course was also very instructive and easy to understand and well structured in order to present and teach to students. I thought it covered important aspects of the language but could have been a bit more extensive.
Most importantly, I found that the course (although it was not done in practically) was extremely helpful and instructive on practical matters such as lesson plans, activities, behavioral problems and discipline, shyness and learning difficulties as well as student treatment and establishing rapport and maintaining fairness in the classroom. I have also drawn from this course that TEFL must be fun and interesting as well as greatly rewarding and challenging.
