I have gained so much from this course. Firstly, I feel truly ready to teach english to foreign students, which is the most important thing, though oddly not the reason why I took this course. I took this course because I thought I needed the qualification in order to be employed; no doubt, itll serve that purpose. But I do not know how I expected to be able to teach without the knowledge that I gained here. I know how to do lesson plans and how to control problem students. I feel more responsible as a result of this course. I plan to put all that I learned, in theory and in practice (the lesson plans were SO helpful), by moving to China in two weeks and teaching english. I am nervous but not scared; I am excited to receive my first class (which will be in a Kindergarten). I do not have a job set out in stone yet, but I am talking to several employers. I feel confident that I will be able to secure a job armed with my ITTT tefl certification. I know that I will always be able to travel the world and pay for my adventures with this wonderful course, and I am grateful that I will be able to volunteer to teach english in places that cannot afford to pay teachers high salaries. This certificate will enable me to cross borders in every sense. It was more difficult and more time-consuming than I had initially thought it would be, but I am grateful that it was, for I feel more prepared. Thank you!
