This course has taught me in great detail the structure and makeup of the english language. It has enabled me to explain the language in a much more concise manner, allowing foreign speakers to understand thoroughly how to construct correct sentence, by understanding reason and instruction instead of “instant” - which is only natural for a native student, and is difficult to pass on to EFL students, especially beginners.
The course has also given me lots of useful advice on how to teach, from class setting, visual aids, pronunciation, mannerisms, lesson layout, to teaching students how to listen, and evaluating and testing students.
The lesson planning in particular will help me to be organised, and will ensure I will have a varied and engaging lesson each time.
