I have gained a better understanding of what it takes to not only teach but to be an effective and informed teacher as well. I plan to use these skills that I have obtained through this course to teach students in China at a business university. This course has given me the tools to prepare myself for what is to come when I start teaching. The items that have helped the most are the lesson plans and learning how to better express myself to the non-english speaking students. Trying to explain the rules of the english language is not easy, but I now have a good resource to use to get my lessons across.
