First, I have learned that I should make student-centered lessons. I have been teaching english in japan for about five years now. I sometimes feel irritated with students when they cannot do as what I planned or when they don’t understand what I say. I realized that I had been so self-centered. I’m going to pick up what students can do, not cannot do. And I’m going to praise students a lot!
Secondly, I thought I should be more creative. From my teaching experience, I tend to rely on the same pattern of lesson. Now I know fun activities and different lesson patterns from this course. So I can try new things, and that will be interesting not only to students but also myself.
