EFL stands for English as a Foreign Language and is to almost all purposes the same as ESL, English as a Second Language. These two are also equivalent to ESOL which means, English to Speakers of Other Languages. There are many private language schools offering opportunities for TEFL Jobs in Greece. These language schools are where the great majority of English teachers can find work in this country. Most TEFL jobs in Greece are teaching young learners, but there are opportunities for work in almost all other areas as well, such as business English, teaching adults and private lessons.
