the videos are all about teacher and students' classroom participation and setting. comparing the two videos, we could see that in the first video, the teacher is quite intimidating with the tone of his voice. the teacher did not even try to get to know the students' name as well as acknowledge them whenever they are attempting to answer his questions, apart from that he just continued with his lesson without checking if the students clearly understood whatever he is discussing. Asking directly what the "modal verbs" are, is a complete mistake of a teacher, he should have prompted the students about the vocabulary words then elicit the target sentence. The teacher should think of a better way on how the students will be participative in the class not confused nor intimidated. these factors are in contrast to the second video. In the second video, the students are active and participative because of the teacher's attitude towards the students and handled the class well.
