I have reflected that the teacher plays the bigger role in motivating and encouraging the learners to be successful in learning English. Considering a lot of factors such as learning experiences, culture, language awareness, age, behavior, and life experiences would be helpful to teachers on how to handle the learners and how to design activities that would fit for every learner's need in learning the second language.
A teacher should also be open-minded when it comes to teaching, and that all learners are unique. The teacher should also bear in mind that, he/she must manage the class effectively and efficiently, without offending or hurting a learner's feelings that eventually demotivates them.
A teacher should serve as a role model that has a lot of positive characteristics. Attitudes such as kind, patient, involves students in the class, can correct learners without offending them, knows the strengths and weaknesses of her students are keys to a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
