From this lesson, what I learned is about books and materials. One of the important thing for a teacher is the course book, because if the teacher choose one book as the course book, the whole class should base on this book.
If teachers can choose their own course book, they should choose it very carefully. For me, the book should have a good balance for grammar and skill practice. Also, it should be attractive which can make students force on the book.
However, the course book we chose may not suitable for every student, especially for the students who has special needs.
Authentic materials are all about native language.such as newspaper, songs and videos. But this part can be really difficult for beginners to study. As a result, choosing the right materials are very important for all the EFL teachers.
