In this lesson, I learned about the two productive skills which are Speaking and Writing. For Speaking, teachers should always pay more attention to it because it is generally used in communicating and considered as the most important part. And Writing is the most neglected skill. However, the class cannot always include all the four skill since the time won't be enough. We need to carefully choose what to teach. For Writing and Listening, they can do that by themselves as homework, but for Speaking and Reading, they really need teachers' help. That is the reason why Writing can be neglected.
During Speaking lessons, teachers should encourage students to talk more, especially for the beginners, which always too shy to speak. What we need to do is put them into right groups or pairs. Before the class, we also need to fully prepare for the class. We need to think about all the situations and how can we solve them. Games seem like a good way to help students relax and calm down.
