A lesson plan is very important, is where you get references during the class and prepare every detail you want them to know and learn. It has every detail that you will prepare for them, what kind of material you will use in that class, if you need something extra for that class, like bring some fruit toys for example so that the students will associate the name with the image of the fruit that you brought. But that was only available because you prepared yourself and planned everything. Follow the plan is a important thing but you also need to be opened to some modification during the class, if something happens you also need to be prepared. And never forget to check everything/ material before the class starts.
