I really appreciated this unit. It provided me with additional resources and websites which I had not seen in the past. I also really enjoyed researching the cultural norms in different teaching environments. I try to do this as much as possible, but as an online teacher my students come from a wide range of cultures from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, Russia and Latin America. At times I wish that I taught in a brick and mortar school so that I could spend more time drawing on the students cultural backgrounds to build my lesson plans.
