It is ideal that teachers have no lesson plan but have a broad spectrum of mind map of
what to teach with much of flexibility and without losing direction. However, for inexperienced
teachers in order not to lose direction, it is very helpful to have one. It can be an aid, a
working document, and a record. Making a lesson plan includes followings: learner
objectives, personal aims of teacher, context (the theme of the class), teaching aids
including visual aid, anticipated problems such as questions or reactions of students,
procedure, phase (ESA), Timing, Interaction, class level, number of students, date/time, and
teacher’s and observer’s names.
